In rediscovering Ruskin’s ideas, expressed at a time of change, I’ve found many of them to ring true even today, as we continue to tackle life in the new age of AI.

RSA JFN Event: Ruskin Calling

In a short time frame, with minimum power point and maximum interactive participation, we sought to engage our heads, hands and hearts in a lively conversation about lifelong learning and the value of being human in the age of AI.

And, I believe in doing so, we managed to bring Ruskin’s ideas to life.

Many of Ruskin’s ideas resonate with the way that I approach drawing

Both in my own work and in the way that I teach drawing – “Truth to Nature” amongst others.

As a lifelong learner, this is part of my learning too. And you’re invited.

Yoyogi Park Tokyo October 28th The Big Draw 2018: Join us as the world’s biggest drawing festival comes to Japan. This year’s exciting collaborative opportunity is a bi-lateral drawing event between the U.K. and Japan. I’ll be leading a drawing event in Yoyogi Park and U.K.-based artist, Hilary Baker, will be leading a drawing event in Ruskin Land in Bewdley. EVENT RECAP HERE
